This Really is a Absolutely Beautiful - Fine Quality Antique English Majolica Comport / Tazza.
It was Made During the Classic Aesthetic Victorian Period - Circa 1870s to 1880s. It has Wonderful Detail in the Embossed and Hand Painted - Decorated Features. Many Collectors Today will Agree that Wedgwood Produced some of the Best - Most Beautiful Pieces of Majolica During the Victorian Era. The Base is Embossed - Signed WEDGWOOD. The Perimeter is done in Repeating Daisy Flower Design. It is Hand Decorated in Absolutely Stunning Traditional Majolica Color Combinations. It is in Excellent Overall Original Condition - Perfectly Usable - Displays Beautifully. It has No Cracks - No Chips - No Repairs. It has Some Light Glaze Crazing in the Basin as Typically Occurs with Age on this type of Majolica. The Top - Basin has some Very Fine - Faint Utensil Surface Glaze Wear from Use Over the Years but it is Not Terribly Noticeable . Note! that The Rim has a Factory Glazed Over Decoration Kiln Flaw on the Rim that Absolutely Occurred in the Making and Kiln Firing Process - This can Best be Seen in the Last 2 Photographs. It does also have a Few Other Similar but Smaller.
It Measures Overall Measures 3 inches Tall x 8 7/8 inches Long - Wide.
