This vintage French spelter clock with gold finish depicts Psyche being awakened by Eros' kiss. It is entitled "Amour et Psyche" and is copied from the original in the Louvre, Paris.
The clock was manufactured by JB Hirsch, New York and features an enameled dial with delicate flowers and garland. The base is white Carrara marble. The Bell and Pendulum are missing, the key is present.
