Vintage Bavarian porcelain four-piece place settings with for service for four in a vibrant purple and raspberry thistle pattern, lacy green leaves and silver accents, circa 1950. Marked “Bavaria, Germany.” Maker's mark identified as Retsch & Co. Makes a wonderful entertaining set for the holiday.
Dinner plates, 10"Dia x 1"H; soup/salad bowls, 7.5"Dia x 1.75"H; berry/dessert bowls, 5.25"Dia x 1.25"H; bread/butter plates, 6"Dia x.5"H. Light wear, with light discoloration to one plate (photo).
