Here we have an outrageously cool vintage 1960's Bedroom set which consists of a nine drawer lowboy dresser and two matching nightstands. This set was made in 1963 by Johnson Carper for Fashion Trend. Fabulous details such as serpentine dovetailed drawers, applied moldings, HUGE 6" round plastic medallion pulls and wood twist rope trim. All original finish with laminate tops. There is one small piece of veneer missing (dime sized) on the lower right drawer of the dresser, please examine photos carefully. Also some areas of finish loss around the base, the set is a perfect candidate for high gloss lacquer or fun bright paint job.
PLEASE NOTE: The original height of the nightstands is 16 inches. I made modifications to the nightstands by adding threaded brackets and genuinely vintage tapered Mid Century wood legs to bring the height to 27" tall, to be more in keeping with most modern bed heights. This modification can be undone simply by unscrewing the legs and brackets. The nightstands are 17.75 inches deep and 22 inches wide. Dresser is 62.5 inches wide, 17.75 inches deep and 30 inches tall. Such a stylish and hard to find bedroom set...thanks for looking!!!
