Created in Sweden during the 1850s, each of this set of six side chairs features a rectangular stick back accented with discreetly carved rosettes, flowing seamlessly into the hind legs. Showcasing seats that are ready to receive a new upholstery, the chairs are raised on tapering legs connected to one another though H-Form stretchers. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, this set of six Gustavian style painted wood side chairs circa 1850 will make for a lovely addition to any dining room or breakfast area!
