The label was transferred by our upholstery team back to the same location in which we found it after our reupholstery work was complete - so as to maintain evidence on the history of this stunning piece.

Vladimir Kagan's Omnibus sectional sofa was designed in 1953. While this piece is just one of many shapes that were offered in this collection, it certainly stands on its own as it is large enough to fit 4-6 people who are seated or two who are reclined with their feet up. Despite its size, it appears light - almost floating - as a result Kagan’s trademark lucite bases.

The fabric used to recover this piece is Casamance - Louange - Eloge - Acier (70 % wo; 25 % pa; 5 % af - lining - wadding 100% pes.). It is listed as being superior or equal to 80,000 rubs on the Wyzenbeek scale.
