The gilt rim has a band of blue and pink Ru Yi lappets below, capping the inner body of the bowl which has two, finely drawn and shaded polychrome fenghuangs amid a profuse, dense, lattice of polychrome lotus flowers, orchids, peaches, acanthus and pomegranates on intertwining leafy vines, with a Fu Bat above a Buddhist symbol at center top and a large white and red lotus flower near the bottom. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with five, finely drawn, red bats, forming the rebus of Wu Fu Min Len, wishes for the five blessings of health, wealth, long life, love of virtue and a peaceful death.

A blue four character Yongzheng Yuzhi reign mark within double blue squares is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu, plate stand is included. Circa early 20th century no later than mid century.
