This … Read more Assembly armchair, Regency period, with large and comfortable file and seat, covered with an old tapestry with aged nails. This authentic fabric has flower and foliage decorations in cross points, in the middle of which we will appreciate, in medallions, two colored bouquets in vases on foot.
Many moldings embellish this seat, such as shell sets on the traveles and songs of song or long leaves on the towers with curved consoles. We will also find windings on the shoulders, or even animal hooves on the four curved feet.
The latter are linked together by a X -shaped spacer, carved with a flower in its center.
We will highlight the quality of the seat which has been handcrafted with straps and balls and which consequently benefits from good firmness.

Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.

Removal, cleaning then rests the tapestry.
