Attributed to the … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown red-orange, yellow and silver flecks Italian art glass fish aquarium sculpture block. Attributed to the Cenedese company, and designer Alfredo Barbini. There is a worn silver triangle "Murano Glass Italy" label on one of the corners. The fish has very bright coloration, with red-orange and yellow alternating pattern on the fins. Has silver flecks in the body, but the yellow color of the fish makes it look like gold. The fish is swimming among red and dark green grasses, and soft green algae at the bottom. The piece is made with 2 thick glass pieces sandwiched together. Very heavy piece. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Mid-century era. For accuracy, there are some chips and stracthes (please see photos). Displays well. Offers considered. Sold as is. Measures 6 1/4" long x 5 1/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide.
