The sconce has some wear and chips on the original gold leaf finish. The wires are original and you may want to have them checked by a professional. The fixture may have had crystals hanging from the scalloped cups at one time but they are missing. I prefer the fixture without the crystals myself but if you like them you can easily purchase some online.
