This beautifully detailed vintage Stanley Furniture china cabinet combines elegant display space with practical storage. Its soothing neutral straw finish complements a range of interiors, including Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, Palm Beach, and Coastal styles. The cabinet would also be an excellent candidate for a colorful lacquered or painted finish, and I can provide local painter references to the buyer upon request. The brass hardware could be polished for a brighter look or left in its current beautifully patinated condition.
The upper cabinet features two glass doors with brass hardware that open to reveal two original glass shelves. The shelves are wrapped for safekeeping and were not photographed; they are included and remain in good condition. The interior back is finished with the original vintage cream wallpaper, while faux bamboo trim outlines the cabinet top and glass doors.
The lower section features two cane-inset doors with brass campaign pulls, opening to reveal an additional shelf. This solid, quality-made, one-piece cabinet measures 44" wide x 78" high x 16" deep. It offers a wonderful combination of storage and display and would make a handsome addition to a dining room, living room, entryway, bedroom, or dressing area. It could even be used to display shoes and handbags.
