By the mid 1930s, they hired two Swedish artisans who brought the art of hand-blowing glass. This is a piece from the generation of artisans who had been trained by the Swedes. Wayne Husted's pieces for Blenko were made between 1953 and 1963, and many of his more than 600 designs for Blenko are in museums.
