This chair was sold at Sothebys in New York at one point, but I am not sure when, Sothebys sticker on back #25. The chair was painted at some point, I am not sure if it is original paint or later, so I left it alone and selling as is.The only restoration done to the chair was structure, joints were all cleaned and re glued at a furniture restorer here in Denver.I bought the chair from Ginny Williams Gallery in Denver. There is an example of this chair in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and there is one for sale on another website in Walnut for $14,000 in Vienna.I have priced to sell as I am not sure about the painting of the chair and not knowing when it was sold at Sothebys. I am open to reasonable offers. See less
