C. on the Bicentennial of the United States. Semper Liber (always free) is embossed on the banner below the crest.

The boundary between Canada and Port Angeles was established in 1846.

The placard on the plate is marked sterling. There is an attachment on the back for hanging.
"Sculptor J. Saull" is hand-written on the back as well.
