An American folk art oval wooden box with lid, hand painted and stained in green, yellow, white and very dark purple hues. Four legs support the base and there are 4 yellow rattan bands around edges. This box is an excellent example of 19th and early 20th century American folk art made in a home workshop with homemade charm. Very decorative piece.
Measures 13" long X 7" high.
