The dial flanked by a painted swiss lakeside landscape (signed) behind facet cut glass and has arabic numeral. An 8 jours clock with balance wheel escapement. The clock is numbered with 14105 and 1775. Marked with m.a. Plojoux (michel-ange plojoux), genève. At the back a rocaille easel. 1 screw is missing on the back and shows some traces of use. The height is 7 cm, the width is 9 cm, and 5 cm deep standing. The weight is 300 grams m. A. Plojoux was established at 30, rue du rhône in geneva. He was a watchmaker of high precision, specialized in complication watches, and jewellery. He received two awards at the paris universal exhibition in 1878, won a gold medal in 1880 and also took part in the geneva national exhibition in 1896. See less
