Artist: Leo Kouper
About the Artist: Born in 1926 in Paris, Léo Kouper learned his trade from poster artist Hervé Morvan (1917-1980). Over the course of his career, he gained international fame thanks to his cinema posters, but also produced posters for the theatre and advertising.
About the Bridge: The Pont de Normandie is a cable-stayed road bridge that spans the river Seine linking Le Havre to Honfleur in Nomandy, Northern France. Its total length is 2,143.21 metres – 856 metres between the two piers. It is also the last bridge to cross the Seine before it empties into the ocean.
