  • "Of course! So I just went to measure them myself and they are actually more like 23" (again, sorry for the discrepancy between the website and the product). So, one less inch between your current chairs and these to worry about. I definitely wouldn't worry about them being awkwardly low, if anything they are even more comfortable than a stool that's a bit too tall!"

  • "Yay!! Now I am just trying to figure if the height works for a counter-- our current stools are 26" and not sure if 4" makes it awkwardly low-- any insight appreciated. Thanks!"

  • "Hi Ceridwen! We have updated the shipping cost on the site. You should now be able to select the flat rate shipping price. Thank you for your inquiry!"

  • "Hi! I love these and want to get them but sadly I'm in NYC and the cost of shipping is pretty intense. Do you think there might be a way to get a slightly cheaper shipping option if they are stacked in one box, etc. Would love to figure it out-- these are just right for me. Thanks."

  • "Jennifer S.: Hi Jennifer, no they are not painted. They are in wonderful condition and the black metal legs show very little wear and tear."

  • "Is the metal on these stools painted? Difficult to tell by the photo. If so, is the paint largely intact? Thanks for your time."
