This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Looking Antique American Primitive Fireside Stool - Footstool. Circa Mid 19th Century. It is Sturdily and Completely Hand Made out of Solid Hardwood - Possibly Maple or Beech. NOTE The 4 Exposed Heads of the Hand Made - Hand Wrought Iron Early Style "Rose Head" Nails at the Seat - Top. It Still Retains its Wonderfully Aged Red Color Oil Painted Surfaces with Artist Embellished Hand Painted Assorted Fruits that are Done in the Classic "Toll" Style. I purchased this piece on on of my recent Picking Adventures in the Pennsylvania Lancaster Valley. It is in Very Good Cosmetic and Strong - Sound Functional Condition. It Displays Beautifully with that Wonderful Authentic Age and Use Look that Cannot be Duplicated.
It Measures Overall Approx. 5 1/4 inches Tall x 14 1/4 inches Long x 4 3/4 inches Wide.
