This is a gorgeous Japanese Imari platter. The platter features set of cartouches with alternating designs of plum blossoms and phoenixes. The central medallion has a cart with camellias in a basket or a planter. This plate features the typical Imari designs in red, blue, green and gold gilding. The typical Imari Ware spoke design is present with six segmented cartouches with alternating designs. This platter will make an inspired gift or wonderful addition to your personal collection.
