The painted surfaces have quite … Read more A beautiful 19th century Louis XV Bergere upholstered in cotton velvet check and woven grasscloth. The painted surfaces have quite a few layers of chippy paint, which looks wonderful. The nailhead detail is nice. The fabric is in excellent condition. These were redone in the 1990’s. Some minor blemishes in addition to the chipped paint. There are 3 of these chairs available as a suite if desired. The chair was originally purchased in 1983 and upholstered in buff leather. It was redone in this Donghia fabric in the 1990’s to match a new bedroom redesign. A copy of the receipt of the purchase is attached. See less
