Look carefully when you compare similar looking $79 vases. The $79 ones are rectangular. They are not signed on the bottom. And if you look closely at the paint you can see a difference. The paint on this vase looks like it’s inset.

I wasn’t able to find any other vases similar enough to this to get a good price comparison, however, the auction house estimated the value up to $1000. Some of their items sold for much more than their estimated value.
