Made at the turn of the century in the small town of Charleville, the graceful urn is framed by scrolling handles — an extension of the motifs of furling leaves which decorate the surface of the iron. The original white-painted finish has weathered to a textural patina, creating the nostalgic impression of a garden overgrown, an abandoned arbor reclaimed by nature. See less
