We are having an internal debate on the style and country of origin of this wonderful chair. Some point out the carved elements as strongly Jacobean in nature while the "other" side scoffs and highlights the sexy serpentine X-form stretchers and nicely carved handhold on the top rail as being decidedly Italian. No matter what the origin, this handsome chair would be an asset to any home or office!

Very good vintage condition; structurally sound, minor wear to upholstery and finish.
