Forged entirely of hand-worked iron, the tall rectangular form is constructed with vertical strapwork and undulating horizontal supports designed to cradle bottles securely on their sides. The rhythmic wave pattern is not only visually distinctive but functional, allowing proper horizontal storage for aging wines. A hinged front door opens to reveal multiple tiers accommodating up to seventy-two bottles, and is fitted with its original working lock and key, offering both security and authenticity.
