A fine example of polychrome tin glazed earthenware, the French version of Delftware, dating to the early-mid 19th century from Desvres (near Calais in Normandy). Decorated in a manner very similar to the Dutch, featuring a stylized basket with flowers, sprigs and interestingly shaped reserves.
