Urushi is Japanese aesthetics from centuries ago, featuring good luck symbols in traditional colors. URUSHI lacquer is a 100% ecological coating material made from sap of special trees (Rhus Verniciflua). One tree can produce 200ml sap at most in a lifetime, which makes it highly rare.
A renowned decoration technique in Japan's lacquerware creation, MAKI-E gilding applies gold in multiple yet thin layers. Pictures are drawn by sprinkling ultrafine gold powders over wet lacquer.
O-yoroi helmet is a Japanese armor worn by the samurai class of feudal Japan.
