Documented to … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown clear bubbles rim, with pink and gold flecks, Italian art glass decorative bowl. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1950s. Created in the "Incalmo" technique, which attaches one piece of glass to another. The thick rim around the bowl is a made in clear glass with controlled "Bullicante" bubbles technique. On the photos you can see some gold on the rim, but that is only the refraction causing the image of the gold from the bottom be reflected on the curve of the rim. The inside of the bowl is made with a dark pink glass, and is filled with gold leaf throughout. The direct sunlight on some of the photos makes it look more red than pink, but it is pink. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, ring or candy dish. Mid-century era. For accuracy, there is an impact mark on the bottom of the bowl. Cannot be seen when displayed (please see last photo). Priced accordingly. Measures: 5" long x 4 3/5" wide x 2 1/8" high.
