vintage danish lounge chair ge-88 by aage pedersen for getama denmark 1960s.
danish modern lounge chair model ge88 designed by the owner of the getama furniture factory aage pedersen.
this easy chair is made in solid teak with epeda spring cushions. Original wool fabric. The ge 88 are stylish, elegant and very comfortable.
getama is a well known danish manufacturer of mid-century modern furniture and have had a long lasting collaboration with architect hans j. Wegner. They are still producing wegner's furniture today.
the upholstery shows signs of wear and is faded. Spring cushions are in good shape.
wood is cleaned, oiled and polished. Solid construction. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
