Superb set of blue ceramic and gilt bronze consisting of a large clock and a pair of candlesticks with six arms of light.
Refined, this clock in the shape of an urn, rests on a rectangular base in gilded bronze, composed of acanthus leaves and foliage and two mythological lions. Four feet in volute support the whole. In the center, the circular dial is topped by a knot in the Louis XVI style. On the sides, large bronze elements decorate the urn. This one is surmounted by a lion's head ending with a pine cone.
Two large candlesticks accompany this clock. In midnight blue ceramic and gilded bronze, they have six arms of light in volute.
The central part representing an urn is decorated with a descent of foliage and flowers, accompanied by chiseled bronze elements.
The quadripod foot is carved with lions and foliage.
Impressive in its size and elegance, this mantel garniture attracts the eye by its presence, its colors and its ornaments.
