This is an absolutely gorgeous and very unique antique oak arm chair, believed to be from the mid 1800s. The story I was told about this chair is that it was in a home involved in the Underground Railroad!
This chair is solid and sturdy, with remarkably minor cosmetic imperfections considering it’s age. It features a depressed, comfortable seat, oval back, high arms, and beautifully turned legs and spindles.
