Higgins glass was founded in 1948 and was a pioneer of rediscovering and refining the ancient art of glass fusing; creating beautiful works from "sandwiches" of colored glass. The gold signature on this piece indicates it was a piece made at Dearborn Glass in Bedford Park, IL between 1957-1964.
