Thonet chair no. 81 was designed in 1904. In the Thonet catalogue of 1906 (page 34) it is depicted as "Schreibfauteuil Nr. 81", with a rattan (Wiener Geflecht) seat. In 1983 Thonet re-issued this chair as chair no. 225. In original condition. This piece has an attribution mark,
