About the Poster: Michel Maly (1936-2018) is known for his expressionist and colourful paintings that often depict cityscapes from the US and pastoral scenes from his native France. He has exhibited across the world, from Italy to Japan. The painting featured in this poster demonstrates Maly's ability to capture the essence of a place, and in this case he does so by combining two of NYC's primary aesthetic features: its austere corporate towers and vibrant tourist scene.
