This is an unusual and rare artisan-crafted glass creation as it is not a mass-produced item. It was purchased at an antique vendor that listed it as a Scandinavian cheese platter, and searches yield no similar matches. A glass collector suggested it is possiblly Scruf of Sweden, however, it also resembles a piece by Pukeberg. There is no discernible signature or marking, however, if you hold the plate up against a well-lit black background, there does appear to be scripted text. As stated, it's a curious enigma.
It is textured and resembles choppy ice water, floating icebergs, and has a sculpted, uneven raised rim. The plate measures 7 3/4" in diameter and 7/8" at its highest.
It is paired here with a stainlless steel cheese knife that measures 7 1/2" in length.

There appear to be some minor utensil marks, barely detectable due to the nature of the textured glass. Any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage. less
