A sweet Danish fawn figurine. Marked # 1147. A nice accent among holiday decorations or nestled in with other DJ collectibles.
Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen, a sculptor, began his career in porcelain at Royal Copenhagen. In 1925 he opened up his own studio creating porcelain figurines such as this fawn. His son eventually took over the business until 1985 when it closed.
