Decorated in the "Passion Flower" pattern, made by Minton & Co. between 1845 and 1873
Transfer printed in blue and then hand finished with vivid hues of red, pink, orange yellow and green.
Tomas Minton and his son Hebert were pottery manufacturers based in Stoke-on-Trent, known for porcelain and various types of earthenware since 1793. In 1845 the Minton & Co. name was adopted, after 1873 it became known as Mintons
Clearly marked with blue transfer flower and the words Passion Flower M & Co.
There are also a hand written number 9447 A and incised letters Newstone ? as well as three other incised markings: and anchor and two other
