Beautiful "Tutti Frutti" Murano art glass bowl designed by Dino Martens for Arte Vetraria Muranese (AVeM), Murano, Italy, 1950s/60s.
Vibrant multi-colour tutti frutti pattern. Decorated with multiple complex, distinctive and refined Murano art glass techniques (Zanfirico Latticino Flilligrana, millefiori flower murrine, Latticino with silver leaf fleck inclusions) surrounded with an outer casing of thick dark blue glass. The bowl is very large, usually the ones offered are much smaller. Original sticker intact (can be removed very easily if needed).
Perfect as a serving bowl, a vide poche or for purely decorative display.
Height: 3.1''; width: 7.3''; depth: 7.3''. Weight: 2.2 kg. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks. Few usual scratches from use at the base.
