This highboy has … Read more Wonderful vintage Hollywood Regency lacquered and brass highboy designed and manufactured in the United States, circa 1950s. This highboy has been professionally restored and features a polished white lacquer that powerfully signifies the elegance that embodied Hollywood Regency style and lucidity. Features three-wide dovetailed drawers, each drawer with its original polished brass pulls, which have been structurally detailed and appear to be shaped like bison horns. The upper part has two doors that stand out for having an embedded polished brass plate inspired by Asian décor. In addition, each door has its original medal-shaped pullers, which contrast perfectly with the rest of the design. Opening the doors reveals a fixed shelf with dividers that are complemented by a drawer at the top, giving you even more storage space inside. We cannot fail to mention the fantastic design that this tall dresser has, and we can appreciate that it is clearly inspired by old oriental constructions, which is well represented in the curved edges expressed in the structure of the base and the top of this piece.
