Amilcare Santini was born in Tuscany and developed a sculpting technique where he combined marble, alabaster, and resin in a mold and then hand sculpted the pieces once hardened.

This piece was found in an attic here in Miami, FL in the former home of an auctioneer. There’s no telling how long it had been stored. See less
