One bowl does have a fairly significant chip but it shows mostly from the bottom side of the bowl. Another bowl has a tiny chip on the edge. One has a hairline crack but it does not leak, it’s just cosmetic. Some of the gold trim has started to wear down a bit from use. We have taken these flaws into account with the price but they are still generally beautiful for approximately 125 yr old bowls. less
