This is a stunning Antique French Louis XVI style gilded wood wingback arm chair. The chair features carved and gilded frame with curves and column style arm supports. The profile is also pretty and the back has carved framing as well. The gild finish as some ware and chips and the original upholstery, while with some minor staining from the wood underneath, is really lovely. It is sturdy (although one can see chipped seams near arm rests) and comfortable. The swirled wood carving on the legs is very unique. Just grand!!
It stands 35" high, 27" wide and 26" deep.
