It was wade … Read more This Really is a Absolutely Beautiful - Very Unusual Antique English Victorian Majolica Centerpiece Grapes Serving Bowl. It was wade during the Classic Aesthetic Victorian Period - Circa Approx. 1880. It is Embossed - Signed WEDGWOOD. It is done in a Wonderful Embossed - Relief Grape Cluster - Leaf & Vine Design on a Basket Weave Background. It also has Figurative - Reticulated Branch Handles. It is Hand Decorated in Stunning - Traditional Majolica Color Combinations. It is in Very Good All Original Condition - Some Light Glaze Crazing that Typically Occurs with Age on this type of Majolica. It has No Cracks - No Chips - No Repairs - Displays Beautifully. Note that a few of the Grapes have some Light High Point Utensil Glaze Wear from Use Over the Years but it is Not Terribly Noticeable ( Please See Last Photograph in my Listing ). The Bowl Comes With a Pair of Antique - Victorian Sheffield Silver Plate Grape Shears that would have been made at approx. the same time period. These shears feature heavy solid cast metal handles that feature a classic Grape Cluster & Vine Motif with Running Foxes. The Shears have No Maker Mark but they are Marked Made in England. Shears are in Very Good Cosmetic and Functional Condition with some Tarnish.
The Bowl Overall Measures 3 inches Tall x 13 inches Long x 9 inches Wide.
