It is made of woven wicker and painted in a neutral white. I love the shape of this lamp! The base has a splayed shape at the bottom and a wonderful spherical detail at the center. The lamp shade comes in two pieces. There is a diffuser in white fabric on the inside and a wicker outside cover. The top has this great bun shape at the top! The lamp is larger than average, so it will bring a lot of life to wherever it's placed. Please note that it takes 1 standard bulb and has an on/off switch near the base on the cord, making it super easy to use. The lamp is actually very sturdy since the inside is made with metal.
