These are the original Chinoiserie Ming horseshoe-style James Mont chairs. Until James Mont established his own studio he did freelance work for the famed Century Furniture Co. in South Carolina. These chairs are of the highest quality of design and manufacturing. Using Caroline ash wood and strong brass angled arm support accents.
The seats have been restored and reupholstered in a cream linen fabric from Kravet. Chairs are unmarked.
