“Verlys Decorative Glass” low bowl or charger designed by the American Art Deco era artist Carl Schmitz decorated with a spring scene of a little girl with a bouquet attended by a ewe and lamb. The relief design has been acid treated to emphasize the design and the bowl has a beautifully polished rim. This piece is featured on the cover of the book, “Verlys of America Decorative Glass 1935 – 1951”.
Measures approximately 13.25” diameter. Signed in script, C. 1940 Verlys. No damage or restoration.
