This is a Great Looking - Decorative Pair of Authentic Antique American Carpenters Augers - Wood Drills. Circa Mid to Late 1800s. Each Completely Hand Made. They have Hand Hewn Indigenous North American Chestnut Wood Handles with Hand Wrought Iron Drills. These Types pf Augers Were Typically Used in the Classic American Post and Beam Barn Building Process. Purchased in the Central Ohio Region.
Both are in Very Good Condition with Nice Original Patina - Display Nicely.
One Measures 16 3/4 inches Tall x 18 1/2 inches Long x 2 inches Wide.
