Refined and solid material and finely made (partially handmade), a “Shang Te” (上特) workshop mark to the base of each bowl. All bowls are in good condition with no damage, minor wear and scuffs to the surfaces, some stains and discoloration, one bowl interior shows more greenish dark patina from the use and oxidation, which can be easily removed by metal polish.
These finely formed brass bowls will make a crisp and pleasant sound when flicked with a finger. The bowl can be used to hold water in different proportions, and then lightly hit with a small wooden gavel to produce musical melody. They are also referred to as singing bowls.
