This is an antique elbow chair. An English, mahogany armchair with needlepoint upholstery, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Quality needlepoint upholstery with colourful foliate bouquet to the useful drop-in seat
Bowed top rail with arched edge cascades into striking, scrolled arms
Reeded front apron set between a pair of chamfered shoulders
