One of the best known types of cloths from Africa are the bogolanfini, which translates as mud cloths from Mali. Made by Bamana women… they are decorated with geometric patterns in white on a dark brown background. Bogolanfini were traditionally worn by hunters and women. They are protective cloths, keeping away evil spirits who are meant to be confused by the meandering patterns of the close weave and unable to penetrate through the cloth. The bogolanfini originated in the 1970s in a region near the Malian capital of Bamako.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
